Yesterday, he invited me to grab a few shots of my own. It was a little windy, but the Mavic handled well. I'm hoping I'll get the chance to go up again once the copper is finished. It was a cool opportunity to capture history (this is the first time in over 100 years that the roof has been redone.) The original roof was completed in 1901, so they're hoping this new roof will last as long. At approximately $4M, it better. :) They expect the project to finish up in Spring of 2018.

If you look closely, you can see a dust spot on the sensor in the lower right corner of the frame. I shipped the Mavic back to DJI in December to be fixed. They replaced the camera and gimbal assembly and sent it back. The whole process was quicker than I expected, and I'm extremely happy with DJI support at this point. I can't wait to get back up in the air to shoot this project sans the dust spot.
Keep checking back on this page for more photos and video as the project progresses.
