I'm often asked what I recommend for various things, and I decided it might be helpful to post all of my recommendations on one page. These are all things/services I use and believe in. If you have any questions about anything listed on this page, feel free to contact me.
This is a work in progress, and will most likely change as I try out new technology.
- Sony A7 Mk II
- Canon EOS 5D Mk III
- Canon EOS M3
- Canon Speedlite 430 EX II
- Cactus V6 Wireless Transciever
- Apple iMac
- Apple MacBook Pro
- Apple iPad Mini
- Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit
- Twelve South BookBook case for iPhone
- ThinkTank Retrospective 7
- PeakDesign Everyday Backpack
It's worth mentioning that I've switched from Canon to Sony. I still highly recommend Canon cameras, the Sony just made more sense for me at this point.

For $9.99/month, you get the latest and greatest versions of Photoshop CC and Lightroom, plus sync between Lightroom and Lightroom Mobile.
If you've read the blog, you know how I feel about Evernote. It is the one app that I know I'll use every single day. Everything goes into it so I can find what I'm looking for no matter where I am or what device I'm using.
The best way to markup images and screenshots on desktop and mobile. Syncs with Evernote so your marked up images are always with you. **UPDATE** Skitch will be discontinued on all but the Mac platform. The native Evernote client supports most of the Skitch functionality, but I'm sad to see this one go.
